The Role:
Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at Indooroopilly, QLD!
This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.
We have Part time positions available, with shifts across weekends and weekdays.
This position will be based on award wages.
ROSTER:
Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the shopping centre, including public areas, corridors, food court and designated areas.
- Clean and maintain male amenities to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Complete regular toilet checks and attend to cleaning requirements, spills and other issues as required.
- Perform mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, rubbish removal and other general cleaning duties.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation across all allocated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards or cleaning concerns to the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Work effectively as part of the cleaning team and follow daily schedules and instructions.
About You:
· Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage.
· Good understanding of workplace health and safety and safe chemical handling.
· Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
· The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
· Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
· Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
· Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
