🏖️About the Role Welcome to Seaside Garden Hotel! We are a newly acquired property by the Red Star Hotel Group, currently in a "pre-opening" transformation phase. We are refurbishing in October for a new look, and we need an energetic, proactive backpacker to help us get the property primed and ready. This is not your standard, boring room-cleaning job. This is a dynamic, hands-on, multi-tasking role where no two days look the same. You will be splitting your time between housekeeping and giving the property’s grounds some serious love. 🔧 What You’ll Be Doing: • Housekeeping: Keeping our open rooms polished, fresh, and up to excellent standards for our current guests. • Outdoor Transformations: Getting your hands dirty with gardening, weeding, and painting to bring the gardens/property back to life. 🌟Important Information: Pay Rate: 33.05 – 35.00 per hour (Casual Award rates) Hours: 20-25 hours per week (Weekdays role – enjoy your weekends and public holiday off!) Duration: Immediate start until October (with exciting options to transfer within our hotel group afterward or to continue working during our refurbishment) 👤 Who We Are Looking For: • An Independent Self-Starter: You need to be completely comfortable working alone and managing your own pace on independent projects (like painting and weeding). • A Team Player: Willing to team up and work in a pair with our maintenance handyperson, to knock out the bigger, heavy-lifting tasks safely. • An Outdoor Enthusiast: You must be genuinely willing and happy to work outside of traditional housekeeping duties.
