About High Note Hospitality Group
High Note Hospitality Group is an independent Singapore hospitality company behind Chip Bee Bistro and a growing collection of food, beverage and hospitality projects.
We care about restaurants that feel good to be in. Places with personality, thoughtful food and drink, and service that is warm without feeling scripted.
As we grow, we’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who shares that approach.
The role
This is a hands-on leadership position. You’ll be present on the floor, working alongside the team and taking ownership of the day-to-day restaurant experience.
You’ll help create the kind of operation where standards are high, people enjoy coming to work, and guests genuinely feel looked after.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading daily restaurant operations and service
- Building, developing and motivating the front-of-house team
- Creating a warm, confident and consistent guest experience
- Training and coaching the team on service standards and product knowledge
- Managing reservations, guest feedback and service recovery
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar and management teams
- Rostering, labour management and operational planning
- Maintaining strong operational, cleanliness and presentation standards
- Identifying problems early and finding practical solutions
- Helping shape systems and processes as the business grows
- Being actively involved in restaurant openings, events and special projects where required
About you
You’re someone who genuinely enjoys restaurants and the people in them.
You don’t need a script to understand good hospitality. You notice when a table needs attention, when a team member needs support, and when something isn’t quite working.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Restaurant management experience in a quality casual, bistro, neighbourhood restaurant or similar environment
- Strong floor presence and a natural ability to connect with guests
- Experience managing and developing hospitality teams
- Good commercial and operational awareness
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- High standards without unnecessary ego
- An interest in food, wine, cocktails and contemporary hospitality
- The confidence to take ownership while still being collaborative
- An openness to relocating to Singapore
We’re particularly interested in people who have worked in independent hospitality businesses where managers are expected to think, contribute and get involved, rather than simply follow a corporate playbook.
Why Singapore?
Singapore has one of Asia’s most dynamic food and beverage scenes, with an extraordinary mix of cultures, cuisines and hospitality talent.
For someone interested in developing an international hospitality career, this is an opportunity to become part of a growing independent group and play a meaningful role in what we build next.
