The Opportunity An excellent opportunity is available for experienced
Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists to join a well-established public hospital within a major metropolitan health service in
Western Australia.
The service is seeking to appoint
two permanent Consultants, totalling 2.0 FTE, with genuine flexibility around employment arrangements.
Full-time, fractional, part-time and sessional options will be considered. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and progressive Obstetrics & Gynaecology service while enjoying an exceptional coastal lifestyle

About the Role Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality specialist Obstetric and Gynaecological care to a large and growing community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Obstetrics & Gynaecology services
- Providing clinical leadership across the service
- Promoting patient safety and high standards of clinical care
- Contributing to clinical governance and continuous quality improvement
- Supervising, educating and supporting doctors in training
- Supporting the professional development of other healthcare professionals
- Working closely with the Head of Department and fellow Consultants
- Contributing to service planning and development
- Supporting the achievement of clinical and operational standards
The position provides the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of a busy specialist service within a supportive medical environment.

About You Applicants will be experienced Obstetricians & Gynaecologists who are committed to delivering safe, high-quality specialist care.
You will hold, or be eligible to obtain:
- Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- FRANZCOG or an equivalent specialist qualification recognised in Australia
- Appropriate clinical credentials and scope of practice in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- A commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and patient-centred care
- Strong communication and clinical leadership skills
- An interest in education, supervision and service development
