Production Technician

$34.96 per hour + Super | Weekly Pay
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Manpower is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician to join a leading global organisation within the animal health and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector based in Bendigo.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regulated production environment, supporting the manufacture of products that contribute to animal health and wellbeing.
Please note: This is a casual ongoing opportunity. While work is available on a regular basis, hours may vary depending on production requirements. Some weeks may offer full-time hours, whilst others may have reduced shifts. Flexibility and availability across the working week are essential.
About the Role
Reporting to the production team, you will be responsible for supporting blending, filling, packaging and general production operations while working to strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate blending, filling and production equipment
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality processes
- Complete accurate production documentation and records
- Monitor product quality and identify any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets
- Assist with packaging, warehouse and general production duties as required
- Adhere to GMP, safety and regulatory requirements at all times
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous manufacturing, pharmaceutical, laboratory or production experience
- Experience working within regulated environments and following SOPs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive approach to safety and compliance
- Physical fitness and the ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
Highly Regarded
- Degree or tertiary qualifications in Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food manufacturing or laboratory environments
- Knowledge of GMP and quality-controlled manufacturing processes
