The Position
- High profile site in the Melbourne CBD
- Providing onsite catering to corporate guests, offering an exceptional level of support in the day to day catering operations.
- Showcasing seasonal produce, sustainability, local producers & the latest industry trends
- Ensuring all OH&S compliance is achieved, adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures
- Ensure all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum
- Stock control, ordering & menu planning, and use of quality management systems
- Enhance workplace culture and lead your team to be the best they can be
The Person
- You will be a qualified Chef with minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Previous or current experience at Sous Chef or Senior Chef level
- High end / fine dining and bespoke events experience is a must
- Attention to detail
- You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines,
- Experience in stock control, ordering & menu planning, and knowledge of quality management systems
- The ability to enhance workplace culture, through mentoring and leading a kitchen team
