This unique networked consultant role provides the opportunity to work across multiple facilities including:
* Rockhampton Hospital
* Gladstone Hospital
* Emerald Hospital
You will also support surrounding rural communities including Woorabinda, Biloela, Moura, Theodore, Baralaba, and the Capricorn Coast through outreach and telehealth services.

The Opportunity
As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will:
* Deliver high-quality specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology services across multiple CQ Health facilities
* Provide inpatient, outpatient, and operative care
* Participate in ward rounds, clinics, theatre lists, and after-hours on-call services
* Support and mentor registrars, junior doctors, medical students, midwives, nurses, and allied health staff
* Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, audits, and research initiatives
* Build strong community and multidisciplinary relationships across regional Queensland
At Gladstone Hospital, you will join a welcoming maternity team caring for approximately 600 families annually within:
* Modern birth suites
* Dedicated antenatal and postnatal wards
* Neonatal nursery facilities

What’s on Offer
Total Remuneration Package up to $557,878 p.a.
Including:
* Base salary packages between:
* $216,643 – $251,642 p.a. (L18 – L24)
* $259,072 – $274,678 p.a. (L25 – L27)
* 12.75% employer superannuation
* 17.5% leave loading

Essential Requirements
Applicants must possess:
* MBBS or equivalent qualification eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Specialist Registration, or eligibility for registration, with AHPRA in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
* Fellowship of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), or equivalent
* Ongoing participation in continuing medical education (CME)
* Ability to successfully complete credentialing and scope of practice requirements
