What’s the job?
The Information Security Engineeris responsible forthe overall Cyber security stance of Torrens institutions. They should have a strong appreciation withdemonstratedexpertiseregardingIT Security including continuous assessment of security posture and ongoing improvements.
Principalaccountabilitiesinclude (but are not limited to):
The engineer will be a self-driven technologist who works closely with others within the security department as well as members of other Information Technology departments and business stakeholders toidentify, analyze, and remediate threats.
The engineer may also beleveragedtoassistin designing,building,operatingandmonitoringleading-edge security infrastructure, platforms,applicationsand tools to meet strategic and tactical securityobjectives.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to potential security threatsidentifiedby Torrens security systems (e.g.Nexpose, Cisco AMP for Endpoints, Cisco IDS,email-basedthreats, Cisco Umbrella
Understanding of enterprise, network, system/endpoint, and application-level security issues and risks
This is a permanent, full-time position with hybrid work flexibility. Preference to bebasedatourSurry Hillscampus inSydneybut open also open to the role being based at locations where we have a campus–Melbourne,Brisbane&Adelaide.
