The Opportunity An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced
Consultant / Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a major accredited teaching hospital and regional referral service located approximately
90 minutes from Brisbane.
This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive specialist care while contributing to
clinical leadership, education, quality improvement and the continued development of women's health services across a large and diverse regional community.

About the Role Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality Obstetric and Gynaecological services across a broad clinical environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialist Obstetric and Gynaecological care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings
- Managing a varied clinical caseload
- Supporting safe and coordinated patient care
- Providing clinical leadership within the service
- Supervising and educating junior medical staff
- Participating in quality improvement and clinical governance
- Contributing to service development and innovation
- Promoting evidence-based clinical practice
- Supporting positive healthcare outcomes for women and families
- Contributing to the delivery of services across surrounding rural communities
About the Hospital & Health Service The principal hospital is a
364-bed accredited teaching and regional referral centre, forming part of an integrated health network providing services to approximately
300,000 people across 29 facilities.

Superannuation of up to 12.75% and annual leave loading of 17.5% are payable in addition to the total remuneration package. About You We are seeking a specialist who is committed to high-quality patient care and enjoys working within a collaborative regional health service.
Applicants should hold:
- Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, or
- Qualifications and experience eligible for specialist registration or an approved equivalent pathway
