Job Description
The Senior UX Designer is a strategic thinker who has an excellent understanding of research and design best practices, leading and/or assisting with the creation of the best digital experiences. You will define a strategic and design approach that puts users first, while catering to key business goals and drives single and/or cross platform experiences across the digital ecosystem; along with taking ownership of research and user experience design approach, strategy, design and delivery and working closely with UX Leads on large scale projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and/or assist with conducting effective user and market research, which includes heuristic analysis, competitive/market analysis, user/stakeholder interviews, analytics assessment and the creation of personas/user journeys.

Lead on-site and off-site discovery workshops to capture key business goals, requirements and vision for the future state experience.

Provide guidance and take ownership of conducting content audit, analysis and help define the navigation model and information architecture for complex solutions.

Lead and/or assist with defining user flows, design concepts and detailed design solutions.

Work closely within a cross discipline team to brainstorm, ideate, and iterate as needed.

Lead and/or assist with driving the approach for usability testing, analyzing results and extracting design recommendations.

Understand and integrate analytics data to inform the strategy and design solution.

Work with front-end developers to collaborate and push the envelope on native applications and responsive web design solutions.

Be an integral part of our experience design team, continually helping to define innovative experience design solutions, staying up to date on the latest design and technology trends.

Manage time effectively for yourself and your team to ensure meeting internal and client specific deadlines.

Ability to work and lead a team within a fast paced, agile environment while not compromising on the high quality of thinking, approach and deliverables.

Mentor and manage UX Designers. Provide guidance, support as needed. Assess performance on a regular basis and develop actions plans that support professional development and career progression as per Catalyst’s career development framework.
