Position: Crematorium Operator - Pet Services
About the Role
Our client is a global pet cremation services provider with a strong presence in Australia. The Morisset site is a modern, well maintained warehouse environment, offering long term opportunities within a growing international organisation.
The crematorium role is highly process driven, ideal for someone with a Trade Assistant or industrial background who enjoys structured, routine based work in a clean and respectful environment.
You will be responsible for assisting with the cremation process of predominantly domestic animals, all of which arrive respectfully contained in sealed bags, with modern equipment and minimal manual handling beyond trolley movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring cremation equipment (computer controlled)
- Moving trolleys and assisting with loading/unloading processes
- Following strict process, safety, and hygiene procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the facility
- Wearing and complying with required PPE (High Vis, steel cap boots etc)
- Supporting day to day warehouse and operational tasks as required
Skills & Experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
- Experience as a Trade Assistant, Labourer, Warehouse Operator, or Process Worker preferred
- Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse environment
- Strong ability to follow procedures and maintain attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable, respectful, and professional attitude
- Comfortable working around animal services
