Psychiatry Registrar / Principal House Officer (PHO) to join a highly regarded specialist mental health campus in South East Queensland.
This is an outstanding opportunity for doctors pursuing a career in Psychiatry to gain valuable clinical experience within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with exposure to a diverse range of mental health presentations across secure, forensic and rehabilitation settings.
The Opportunity Working under the supervision of experienced Consultant Psychiatrists, you will provide high-quality assessment and management of patients with complex mental health conditions while developing your clinical skills in a structured teaching environment.
Your role will include:
- Assessment and management of adult mental health patients
- Working within multidisciplinary teams across inpatient services
- Participation in ward rounds, case conferences and treatment planning
- Developing skills in forensic, rehabilitation and secure psychiatry
- Participation in education, quality improvement and clinical governance activities
- Opportunities to contribute to teaching and research
This position provides excellent preparation for doctors intending to pursue specialist training in Psychiatry.

Requirements To be considered you should have:
- Current AHPRA registration (Limited, Provisional or General Registration preferred)
- Previous Australian clinical experience is highly desirable
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Psychiatry
