Casual Role – Social Media and Content Creator
Location: Remote, with frequent travel required for filming and photography

Supertee is an Australian charity providing medical garments disguised as imaginative costumes to children in hospitals. We use storytelling and creativity to bring strength, joy and dignity to families facing serious illness. Our visual content is central to how we share this mission with the world.
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and reliable content creator to join our team. This role is ideal for a media, film, communications or marketing student who wants to gain experience in digital storytelling, social media and nonprofit branding. The role is remote but will involve frequent travel to hospitals, events or interviews for filming and photography.
Key Responsibilities
• Film interviews, events and behind-the-scenes content using DJI or similar video equipment
• Edit video and photo content suitable for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Design basic graphics and social media visuals within brand guidelines
• Write engaging captions and copy that reflect our tone and messaging
• Manage post scheduling using tools like Meta Business Suite or Later
• Deliver raw footage, edited clips and social media assets on time
• Ensure all content is respectful, family-appropriate and in line with Supertee’s brand values
Skills and Experience
Essential
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) or Final Cut Pro
• Experience using DSLR cameras, DJI Osmo or similar gear
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube content standards
• Ability to work within brand guidelines and deliver polished, on-message content
• Strong time management, attention to detail and communication skills
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working With Children Check (NSW)
Desirable
• Own camera or filming equipment
• Experience working with children or in community-focused settings
• Understanding of content trends across social media platforms
• Interest in storytelling for impact and nonprofit work

Monthly Deliverables
• Three to four edited short-form videos (15 to 90 seconds)
• Eight to ten visual posts (images, tiles or graphics) for social media
• One to two event content packages (footage and/or edited highlights)
• Captions and post copy ready for publishing across channels
